7. Computer Soft-wares
8. Technological Forecasting
Each stream may have multiple courses. Total of 50 courses
in above streams may have to be covered.
b) DEIS has unique experience in developing web and
video courses.
It has already done the first of its kind experiment
in India of linking mass instructions through TV to
web-based instructions.
c) DEIS has its own content of three ‘Women’s

converted into web and videos. |
| |

Vocational courses.
b) DEIS will pay special attention to development of Haptic
devices. |
| |
|
5. Development and realization
of Virtual reality laboratories. |
a)
One point DEIS would like to explore is to set up a Virtual
Science Laboratory, where tools of ICT like multi-media,
video, interactive tools etc. would be available so that
the learners in the distance education system ,those in
remotely located educationally backward areas can reap
the benefit as well.
b) The Virtual Science Lab, will essentially comprise
of a user friendly graphical front-end, working in synchronization
with a backend, possibly consisting of a simulation-engine
running on a server.
c) The exhibits will be housed in an exhibition centre
mode and open to students and general public.
d)Other than this we could also take help of some specialized
students from engineering and other management or training
institutes as part of their internship program and use
their help in the development and building of relevant
technologies and programs. |
| |
|
6. Other
Research Projects. |
a)
Explore, research and study of new technologies that can
be adopted for enhanced use of ICT in education.

specialized students from IITs and other management or
training institutes to spread awareness and also use their
help in the development of certain technologies and programs. |
| |
|
7. Development of software
controlled hardware programming for robotics. |
- Software
Design Programming for Robotics is a specialized area
of programming involving the integrated knowledge of both
hardware and software into a working robotic system
- DEIS’ knowledge in this field is limited but,
to offer an integrated and synergized result, DEIS is
willing to explore the subject, if it is necessary for
improving the effectiveness of the other items enunciated
already.

is the successful UDYOG SADHANA-Navi vatchal

EDUCATION was done with support totaling near
about Rs. 4 Crore , under development cooperation
with :
- Netherlands, CORDAID
- New Zealand, Asia Development Assistance
facility, ADAF and CCom.
- UNDP
- and associates in India like Small Industries
Development Bank of India, SIDBI and Department
of Science & Technology, DST ,Govt.
of India.
Under a UNDP project this research was first
implemented in the Arab Region of:
- Morocco
- Algiers
- Sudan
- Syria
- Jordan
where the Secretary General, DEIS taught
the Enterprise Education material developed.
This entire research is now available on
DEIS’s web portal www.enterprise-eeducation.in
.
