Unemployed Women: The perception
is that, of the 200 million unemployeds in India, more than 75
% ie. about 155 million are women who are largely illiterate or
semi-literate, living below poverty line in rural areas.
Unemployed Males:
These are about 45 million largely comprising of youths who have
passed through the formal education/HRD system but not found the
education applicable to the resources in their accessible environment
for any economic activity.
